The Suborbital Microgravity Platform, SMP, carries scientific experiments for testing in microgravity environments when launched by sounding rockets.
The SMP consists of a set of modules for angular speed control, equipped with a telemetry system for the transmission of flight data & experiments and equipped with a rescue system at sea.
VSB30 Sounding Rocket
The VSB30 is a sounding rocket with two solid propulsion stages with 32 successful launches and capable of carrying payloads of up to 882 lb at altitudes of 168 mi. The VSB-30 aims at carrying out experiments in microgravity environments, allowing the payload to remain about six minutes above the altitude of 68 mi.
The VSB30 is offered as a result of the partnership between Aerospacefy and the Brazilian company Avibras
